Description

My research is focused mainly on undestanding of fish spatio-temporal distribution, fish behaviour and biology of threatened fish species. During my carrier, I have used several different hydroacoustic systems (Simrad, Biosonic, DIDSON multi-beam sonar) and post-processing software (Sonar 5, Echoview) in combination with GIS and modelling. I also participated in scientific research of many freshwater ecosystems in Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary, China and Kenya. I'm author or co-author of > 40 scientific papers in journals with IF, methodologies and book chapters, and editor of the Red List of Lampreys and Fishes of the Czech Republic.
