In my PhD I’ve worked with ecology of aquatic microbial metacommunities (phytoplankton and bacteria), where I investigated ecological networks, patterns of dispersion and communities’ structure of these organisms in tropical cascading reservoirs (Brazil).
During my MSc, I’ve worked with freshwater microalgae physiology, selection of potential microalgae strains for biodiesel production; molecular markers (Barcoding) for identification of microalgae.
