Press conferences
Genetically modified crops: Threat or opportunity?
On October 12, 2011, Biology centre AS CR, v.v.i. organized in cooperation with Regional Agrarian Chamber of South Bohemia district a press conference with title “Genetically modified crops: Threat or opportunity?”. Press conference was held in village Žabovřesky near to local collective farm Dubné and as a part of it visit to biogas station in Dubné and to the field with genetically modified corn were organized. The conference was planned as an cross-sectional activity providing information to nongovernmental organizations and through media mediated information also for general public and policymakers (activities T 6.3, T 6.5, T 6.6). Conference was in Czech and following media were present:
